Complete cosmetic care for patients from Springfield and the greater Panama City area.

Quick Summary
Cosmetic dentistry fixes stained teeth, chipped or worn enamel, gaps between teeth, and teeth that look uneven in size. Most patients only need one treatment to reach their goal, though a smile makeover can combine treatments like whitening and bonding into one plan when more than one concern needs attention.
Marina Pointe Dental treats patients from Springfield and the greater Panama City area at our office near St. Andrews Marina, with a full menu of cosmetic dentistry options built around your goals, not a one-size-fits-all plan.
Each treatment addresses a different concern, so here's what to expect from each one.
Teeth whitening is usually the fastest way to see a difference. It removes stains from coffee, wine, and age, working better than store-bought kits, with results showing up in a single visit.
Veneers offer a more complete change. Thin porcelain shells cover the front of your teeth to fix color, shape, and minor alignment issues all at once, and they resist staining better than natural enamel.
Composite bonding is a strong option for chips, gaps, or minor shape issues. We apply a tooth-colored resin directly to the tooth and shape it to blend in naturally, usually in one appointment and at a lower cost than many other cosmetic treatments.
Smile makeovers bring several fixes together into a single plan, such as whitening paired with bonding or veneers. This is often the simplest path when more than one issue bothers you, since it addresses color, shape, and spacing in one coordinated plan.
Cost depends on which treatment you choose and how many teeth you want to fix. Whitening costs the least. A full smile makeover costs more, since it covers more teeth and more steps.
CareCredit and Cherry financing help spread out your payments, and most PPO plans may help cover part of your treatment. We go over your options and costs during your consultation, before treatment starts.
Most healthy adults are good candidates for cosmetic treatment. Your gums need to be free of active disease, and your teeth need enough healthy structure to support a veneer or bonding material. Whitening and bonding can often move forward at your first visit, while veneers and clear aligners need a short planning period so the final result fits your mouth and bite correctly.
We start every case with digital imaging so you can see a clear picture of your teeth before treatment begins. This step also helps us catch other issues, like a cavity or worn filling, that should be addressed before cosmetic work starts.
More patients are choosing cosmetic treatment than ever before. According to the American Dental Association’s Health Policy Institute, national dental care expenditures amounted to $189 billion in 2024, up 3.6% from 2023, with most of it paid out of pocket. That’s why we cover costs and timeline during your consultation, not after treatment starts. We also treat patients from nearby Tyndall AFB who want a clear plan before a move or deployment, and we can often adjust your treatment timeline around a military schedule if you give us enough notice.
Results last different lengths of time depending on the treatment. Whitening typically holds for six months to a year before a touch-up is needed, depending on your diet and habits. Bonding tends to last three to ten years, while veneers often hold up for ten to fifteen years or more with regular care. Aligner results are permanent as long as you wear a retainer as directed afterward.
If a veneer chips or bonding wears down, we can usually repair or replace it in a single visit. Keeping up with regular cleanings also helps your cosmetic work stay looking its best for longer.
Our doctors bring a family-owned approach to every smile we treat, whether you live in Springfield or nearby Panama City. We’re Dr. Alejandro Nieves and Dr. Bhavya Paranthaman, a husband-and-wife team trained at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and we took over this practice because we believe in knowing our patients, not rushing them. We offer bilingual Spanish-language care, and we proudly treat patients connected to the RHRP military dental program. We also welcome patients from the other communities we serve across Bay County.
